Engagement sessions are always such a fun way to capture a couple’s story, and Lydia & Tim’s session in Elora was one of those that just felt easy and full of joy.

We spent the evening wandering some of Elora’s prettiest spots, starting by the water beneath the iconic bridge and ending in soft golden fields as the sun set. From the start, Lydia & Tim brought such great energy to their shoot, playful, relaxed, and completely in the moment with each other.

They kicked off their shoes and waded into the river, laughing and dancing in the water like no one was watching. Those candid moments, the little looks, the hugs, the way they made each other laugh, were such a joy to capture.

After exploring the river, we wandered through the charming streets of Elora and found the most gorgeous light just before sunset. The way Lydia & Tim moved together felt so natural — like they’d been dancing through life side by side forever.

Sessions like this are a reminder of why I love what I do — capturing couples exactly as they are, in places that hold meaning or just inspire a little adventure. Lydia & Tim, thank you for trusting me to document this season of your life. I can’t wait for what comes next!
