I love engagement sessions that feel like a little date — and Ally & Ben’s session in downtown Guelph had exactly that vibe. From start to finish, this evening was full of laughter, connection, and such a great sense of fun.

We wandered through some of Guelph’s prettiest corners — floral-covered walkways, river paths, and of course the bridges and old brick buildings that give the city its charm. Ally looked amazing in her green floral dress and boots (perfect choice for this time of year!), and the way Ben looked at her the entire session said it all.

These two were completely themselves in front of the camera — hugging, laughing, stealing little moments and not taking things too seriously. I loved how naturally they moved together, whether walking hand in hand through the gardens or sharing a kiss by the water as the sun dipped low.

One of my favourite moments? When they decided to climb a tree toward the end of the session — such a fun, spontaneous idea that perfectly captured their playful energy. It’s little moments like that that really bring a session to life.

Ally & Ben, you two were an absolute joy to photograph. Your connection shines so clearly in every frame, and I can’t wait to capture more of your story. Counting down to the wedding already!
