In a time when gender equality is such a hot topic, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the strides being taken, than to gather some of the most talented woman that I know and create something really beautiful.  So often, woman are pitted against each other (high school flashbacks anyone?) and this is just craziness to me. I get all the warm fuzzies watching my fellow ladies kick ass in their businesses and at life.  We need to support and lift up our fellow girl bosses and help each other reach our goals.  I heard a quote once that read “If you continuously compete with others you become bitter, if you continuously compete with yourself you become better.”  No truer words were ever spoken.

Last week during a warm (read: stinking hot) early fall morning, we laughed, we joked, we posed and we laughed some more.  I have a habit of doing this, weird awkward happy dance whenever I take a great photo and this entire session was full of those -back of camera glances, squeals and my happy dance, which looks more like a toddlers pee dance but you get the picture.  This session was extra close to my heart because my daughter Nyah was one of my models *insert proud mama moment*.
